Edinson Cavani continues may Move to Premier League

PSG striker Edinson Cavani continues to be linked with a move to the Premier League even though he has played a significant role in the club’s progression in the Champions League.

The player is simply not in the plans of manager Laurent Blanc after frequently complaining about his position on the pitch. Cavani was not happy that he was straightaway seen as the second choice forward – to Zlatan Ibrahimovic – after just have arrived from Napoli for more than £ 60 million. His position at the club has never recovered from the day one.

The Uruguayan was determined to fight for his future at the French capital, but after saying that it made no difference to his position, he is now on the lookout for a new club. Cavani came off the bench to score the winner against Chelsea in the Champions League last 16 match between the two teams. The winner ultimately proved to be the catalyst behind a 4-2 success on aggregate over the London outfit. Despite being frozen out of first-team action, Cavani continues to score goals on a regular basis as a substitute. The 29-year-old has already grabbed 20 goals in just 40 matches, which is impressive for a player in his position.

Chelsea, Manchester City, and Manchester United are some of the clubs linked with a move."Honestly, it would be wrong if I said no. It's is one of the most beautiful and important leagues in the world. When as a player you have dreamed of playing at the highest level, it's normal that it gets your attention to be linked as a target as a possible addition to important clubs in the world. But it doesn't go further than the reality and today's reality is that I'm a PSG player.I've always said that wherever I have played, I've always respected that jersey and I've always defended it,” said Cavani.
