CHELSEA CONSIDER HIJACKING JUVENTUS MOVE FOR MEMPHIS DEPAY THIS SUMMER
According to a report by Italian publication Tuttosport, Juventus will have to be wary of facing a hijack from Chelsea in the race to sign Memphis Depay from Barcelona in the ongoing transfer window. The Serie A giants want the Dutch attacker on board at the Allianz Stadium in time for the game against Sampdoria on Monday.
Memphis Depay has endured a frustrating spell since joining Barcelona in a Bosman move last summer. The 28-year-old had continued from where he had left off at Lyon, starting the 2021/22 season strongly. But his stock has plummeted since the turn of the year, with Barcelona making a host of attacking reinforcements.
