Edison Cavani signed a new contract with Paris Saint-Germain
Uruguay striker Edison Cavani has signed a new contract with French club Paris Saint-Germain that will see him stay in the French capital until 2020.
It is reported that he will be earning £6m a year with bonuses that can go up to £15m.
There were rumors that Cavani might be leaving Paris Saint-Germain with Arsenal a reported target. However, it turns out that this was all fake news with the striker preferring to stay with the French club. Indeed, with Zlatan Ibrahimovic having left the club at the end of the season, Edison Cavani will now be considered as being the main striker for the French club, and it is difficult to see the Uruguayan international wanting to escape the limelight.
