Uruguay international Lucas Torreira has insisted that he is content at Arsenal and has no plans of making the return to the Serie A with AC Milan. The midfielder recently admitted that he has been struggling with a language barrier since making the move to England and that has led to suggestions that he could part ways with the Gunners.
Speaking ahead of Uruguay’s Copa America quarter-final against Peru, Torreira revealed that there has been no contact with the Rossoneri whatsoever and he is happy at the Gunners despite the struggles in adapting, he said: “Nobody from AC Milan has got in touch with me. Today I’m in the Premier [League] and happy to be part of Arsenal. Adapting was not easy, but I only think about the team. I’m happy to be there.”
